Issues - Wetsuit Maintenance


Wetsuit price range $200 - $700


Maintaining a wetsuit is often considered one of the more time-consuming and least enjoyable aspects of surfing. This process becomes significantly more challenging when outdoor spaces are unavailable or weather conditions make using an outdoor hose impractical, creating difficulties for surfers in properly maintaining their wetsuits.

Survey Results

I conducted a survey of over 300 surfers worldwide to see what their routine is for washing their wetsuits and what are some of the pain points.

Shower Struggle

Based on the survey results, it was found that many users use their showers to clean or dry their wetsuits. A common concern among respondents was that the wetsuit often needs to remain in the shower for over 24 hours to dry sufficiently before being moved to another location.

In the beginning, I was working between 3 different directions to help solve some of the solutions for people at home.
